Cabbage biff
Good cheap low calorie patties with main ingredients white cabbage, onion and flour. They are completely meat-free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The dish is part of Kockgrytan's Neutral cabbage diet.
Make for 4 people.
1. Head of white cabbage 500 grams.
2. Yellow onion 2 pcs.
3. Flour approx. 120 grams. Coarse ground Tex. Graham 100 percent whole grain.
4. 1 grated cold peeled potato
5. 1 egg (0m vegan egg in 1 tbsp potato flour)
6. Oil 2 tbsp. Preferably Rapeseed which is affordable and not as many calories as in olive oil.
7. Black pepper 1 teaspoon.
8. Chili pepper strong Spicy 1 spice measure.
9. 1/2 tsp salt. Preferably the Himalayas.
10. Oregano 1/2 tsp.
Do this.
1. Coarsely grate the cabbage and onion with, for example, a food processor. (Not too fine, then the steaks will be loose).
2. Put everything in a large bowl.
3. Now add the oil.
4. Add flour and mix well and add the spices and the grated potato (or potato flour) and egg.
5. Mix to a firm dough, if too loose, add more flour and stir.
6. If necessary, let the dough rest for 10 min.
7. Form patties with your hands about 1-1.5 cm thick.
8. Heat frying pan with oil 1 tbsp.
9. Add and fry steaks brown on low heat 5-10 min/side.
10. then fry under the lid for about 10 minutes.
11. Finished steaks are placed on paper towels to dry excess fat after frying.

The dish can be eaten both hot and cold.
