Grilled burgers with store-bought bread
A juicy mince burger made on bought seed bread with tomato slice, curry dressing and cheese slice. You can bake the bread yourself by shaping Kockgrytans baguette as rolls. See the cookbook.
This is needed for 4 people.
1. 500 g lamb, beef or mixed meat
2. 1 yellow onion
3. 3 spice measures chili flakes, mortared.
4. 1.5 spice measures ginger
5. 4 spice measures of cinnamon
6. 1/2- 1 tsp salt.
7. 1. coarsely grated potato.
8. 1 tsp ground allspice.
9. 1/2 dl water if necessary.
10. Some grated cheese slices.
11. tomato.
12. curry dressing.
Do as follows.
1. Mix the mince with the spices, the finely chopped onion and the grated potatoes. Knead the mince mixture in a large bowl. rinse your hands with water and knead the water into the mince until it becomes firm and smooth.
2. Shape the mince into patties about 2-3 cm thick. Grill for about 7 minutes on a charcoal grill and 10 minutes per side on an electric grill. Use a spatula to lay and turn the burgers on the grid so that they do not break.
3. Make a dressing by mixing 3 dl of file with 1 tbsp. mayonnaise and a tsp of curry seasoning. Then spread a layer on the inside of the bread slices.
4. Add a good slice of cheese and a sliced tomato.
Good to serve with.
Grilled tomatoes and grilled mushrooms. Make a file sauce on curry spice. Chef's cabbage salad. Potatoes.
